Ministry Volunteer Background checks -

As mentioned at the annual business meeting, background checks will be mandatory for all Ministry volunteers.  The Elders have approved the background check policy and will be implementing it in the weeks to come.  All volunteers ages nineteen and older for every ministry will need to complete a background check once every three years.  The background check results will be reviewed by Pastor Jason.  In situations where Pastor Jason is not able to complete the review then Pastor Jack will complete the review.  This new policy will assist LCF in providing high quality and safe ministries at LCF.  This policy demonstrates “due diligence” for both legal and insurance agencies.  It will also give peace of mind to parents whose children participate in one of our ministries.  An e-mail with a link for the background check will be sent to all current volunteers.  More information about the process will be made available when the link is sent out.  The cost for the background checks will be paid from the general budget.  So, there is no cost to the volunteers.  The company performing the background checks is Ministry Defender Solutions.  They have partnered with LCF’s insurance company.  If you have specific questions about the background check policy please contact Pastor Jason or one of the Elders (Geoff, Jason D. or Josh B.).  Thank you for helping LCF be a church that is proactive in providing a safe place for all who attend.

All Star Kids Summer Day Camp.  All Stars is during the eleven weeks of summer.  It is for children from K-5th grades.  Registration forms are in the hallway next to the sanctuary or can be found on our website.  If you are in the need of summer child care don't delay in getting your form turned in soon.  We are Almost full!!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Help us celebrate the moms of LCF on this coming Mother’s Day.  There will be a special breakfast at 9:30a.m..  This meal is hosted by Z-360 youth ministry.  Bagels, Eggs, Canadian bacon, fruit and gem donuts are on the menu.  Sign-up with link provided.

We will not meet for Life Groups on this Sunday due to the breakfast.
